Hannah Heintz, BA, CCRP
Hannah Heintz is a 2015 graduate of the University of Vermont with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. As an undergraduate she worked in the UVM Family Development Lab researching parental socialization of coping and its role in physiological stress responses in young adults. Prior to joining the Division of Geriatric Psychiatry in early 2017, she spent 2 years as a mental health counselor specializing in DBT at McLean Hospital’s Gunderson Residence and 3East Continuum. She is currently the Lab Manager overseeing operations, training, and compliance within the Geriatric Psychiatry Research Program. She also acts as Project Manager for the multi-site ECT-AD study, investigating treatment for neuropsychiatric symptoms of dementia. She is interested in late-life mood and personality disorders and the causes and treatment of late-life suicidality. She plans to pursue further research in these topics in graduate school.
