Julia Merrill, BA

Julia joined the Geriatric Psychiatry Research program as a clinical research assistant in July 2022. She graduated from Amherst College in 2022 where she received a BA in Psychology. At Amherst, she worked as a research assistant in the Wellbeing and Emotion Change Lab which focuses on mechanisms of emotion regulation skills. Currently, she conducts research on treatment interventions for mood and behavioral symptoms associated with Alzheimer's Disease and other forms of dementia. Julia hopes to pursue a career in clinical psychology.
